Dear Blythe Kingdom Members,

As you all may know, Blythe Kingdom has been around since 2010, after Plastic Paradise decided to shut its doors. During the transition, the administrators agreed to keep the forum safe. We also agreed to keep the structure and rules that was already in place, the way it was.

Due to recent entries in the Bad Dolly Deals blog, we feel there are too many bad deals coming from this forum. Forcing us to change our rules and our way of running the forum. All moderators and administrators have been in discussion for the past couple of months to see what changes we can do to ensure the safety of this forum and the community.

Starting January 30th, 2013 we will make big changes. Changes that include:

-A revision of our current forum rules, separated into their own threads so that one post isnt filled with a bunch of information.
-New forum rules (a few to name - the banning of gift and fee payments)
-Banning Policy - With a new Banning Policy in place we are hoping to see less Bad Dolly Deals.
-A Feedback section - You will now be able to start your own feedback threads and members can post feedback on your thread. There will be rules to follow for this section.
-A Paging/Problematic section - If you are experiencing a problem with a member there will be a section for you to post in. There will be rules to follow for this section as well.

We know not many like change and we hope the forum will support us in the new changes to come. We are also hoping for a positive response. If you would take the time to read through the Bad Dolly Deals blog, you will understand our need to make changes here - for a better, safer environment for all of you.

By participating in this forum, you are agreeing to all of the new rules. If you disagree with the rules and would like to deactivate your account, we will understand. Please PM an administrator to discuss this further.

Hello,

First and foremost we would like to thank everyone for the positive response. We are thankful to hear you are on board with the changes.

To answer a few questions floating around

1- This change isn't directed towards anyone, or wasn't designed to hurt anyone. It was solely created to change the way things are done here. To prevent and/or eliminate future bad transactions. We truly liked the rules we had in place. With the BDDs out there, we feel need to make some changes.

2- We will ban gift payments, and we will also ban people from asking to cover Paypal fees. In the next few days, PMs will be sent to sellers who've asked this in their sales terms.

3- The new rules and revisions will be posted tomorrow, Jan 25th @ 12PM EST. It will take effect on Jan 30th 9AM EST. We are giving five days to agree or disagree. If you wish to disable your account, please PM an administrator (moderators cannot disable accounts). We will not ask questions why. We do not delete accounts.

4- The banning policy will be posted tomorrow as well. To sum up, those with open/unresolved bad transactions left on BDD and/or BK Feedback section will have their account disabled if they do not respond to our emails within 7 days. If no response after 7 days, they will be banned from the forum. We will also remove anyone we rule unfit for this forum. More details tomorrow.

5- The feedback, paging, and problem section will go live on January 30th, 10AM EST. From the month of August 2012* on, you will be able to leave feedback, ONLY if you are able to provide a sales thread link (found in Fare Thee Well). The feedback section will be placed at the bottom of the forum.

The feedback section will follow the same design as the OT/Chit Chat section. It will be split into two sections: Individual Feedback and Paging/Problem Section. Discussion will not be allowed in the individual feedback section, and you may only respond to Paging/Problem threads only if you are able to provide help.
-You must provide all details required to post in both sections or your thread will be removed.
-You can only leave feedback. You may not respond to individual feedback threads, including your own. "Bumping" is not allowed.
-You may not delete, change or remove any feedback left. Requests will be ignored.

There will be rules for the feedback section, and they will be posted tomorrow as well.

Hello

This is a reminder all new rules take effect today. Please read through all and familiarize yourself with them. Especially for the new feedback section (located at the bottom of the forum).

If you are currently selling items asking for personal payments and/or for paypal fees to be covered - please remove this from your post. It is now no longer allowed.

We will send out courteous PMs. If you see a user breaking the rules please PM it to the administrator or moderator, and we will handle it. Please do not involve yourself by reminding them of the rules.

Any new threads and/or sales post we see breaking rules will be removed first then PMed later.
